Root Cover UP

Bought this as my hair is so thin around my face ( and everywhere else) and you can see in photos how bad it is! I got a dark brown colour and it is perfect! Now when I have photos taken you can't see how bad my hair is. Will continue to buy!

Don’t usually write reviews but feel this root cover up is the exception. Even after dying my roots which are grey, my scalp shows through my hair especially at the front. I’ve been trying to find something that will hide both roots coming through and where my hair parts. This product does both, no stickiness, none greasy and no transfer! Really impressed with this product and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. My hair is medium/dark brown with ashy highlights and it’s never looked so good. I normally dampen my hair to put my big rollers on top for volume and after taking them out there wasn’t a trace of colour to my hands and volume was better than normal, even shiny. I used dark brown shade and the brush applicator was great to use, the short end of the brush was good to dab in between the roots and the longer end, perfect for brushing on to the hair away from the root. I’ll be ordering another to make sure I’m never without it!

I was really pleased with this product. I have medium brown hair and purchased the dark brown. I was worried it might be a little dark but as long as you apply it in thin layers the colour is perfect. Very quick and easy to apply. My roots can show within 3 weeks of my hair being coloured and this is an ideal temporary solution until it's coloured again. I'd previously been using the loreal spray but it left my hair feeling 'gunky' and covered in product. This powder looks and feels very natural in the hair. It's also far, far easier to apply precisely and is therefore ideal for areas such as 'round your ears where the spray left you looking like you'd got in the way of someone spraying a fence with paint. I also use it on my eyebrows between tints (I use a fine brush to apply) and it looks very natural just covering the greys and not leaving your eyebrows looking and feeling caked in a gel like product. I have recommended to a number of friends and will definitely purchase again. At £9.99 the product is great value for money as it will last me some time. Glad I found it!

Uso da sempre gli spray l’oreal per coprire la ricrescita ma visto che mi lasciano sempre i capelli della riga per niente morbida (effetto della classica lacca forte), volevo provare qualcos’altro e mi imbatto in questa polvere/ombretto con tante recensioni positive. C’e’ da dire che effettivamente i capelli restano morbidi, non sporca la cute se messa bene e nemmeno piu’ di tanto le mani se ti tocchi la radice ma a mio avviso e’ poco coprente per la mia ricrescita. L’effetto con la luce del giorno e’ traslucido nel senso che sotto si nota un “luccichio” del capello bianco e la coprenza e’ media, cosa che non mi succede con il ritocco spray che e’ davvero molto coprente. In piu’ all’apertura ho sentito odore di ombretto cinese di bassa qualita’ e in effetti guardando sul retro della scatola e’ prodotto in PRC (repubblica popolare cinese) e successivamente commercializzato dal Regno Unito). A voi la scelta…in base alle vostre priorita’…se volete coprenza o preferite morbidezza. Spero di esservi stata utile

Ce produit dure bien plus longtemps que les sprays (très peu de produit suffit) et vous gardez les cheveux lisses, brillants et agréables au toucher. J'aime la précision car avec le pinceau, on en met juste là où il en faut, par contre, c'est difficile à l’arrière et avec un deuxième miroir la droite devient la gauche et inversement.Ce produit couvre bien mais pas aussi bien qu’un spray. Il est parfait pour des cheveux poivre et sel, pour le gris blanc on y arrive en insistant. Il faut une ou deux retouches en semaine mais c'est rapide, juste 30 secondes.J'utilise le châtain glacé en spray et cette couleur est similaire, pas reflets auburn.Je rachèterai ce produit, très contente de de plus avoir avoir le front marron, les cheveux pégueux et un miroir à nettoyer.
